The advanced filters can be used to find plants for a specific application or meeting certain criteria such as hardiness range:

• Hardiness: Slider for finding plants that will survive within the specified hardiness range.
• Ratings: Filter plants based on the 0-5 rating for a specific use category i.e. finding all plants with a medicinal rating of 4 and above.
• Uses: The total documented uses within a specific use category.

Below the standard filters is a separate Filter Uses group, which you can expand to further refine results based on a variety of different uses:

Multiple filters can be used together to further narrow results, and the total number of plants meeting that criteria will update automatically as you apply filters, giving you an idea of how rare or common those combinations are.
