A set of map Tools lives in the controls at the top-right corner of the Map, with zoom controls at the bottom-right. These tools make the design process easier without changing your saved Map.
Search
A search box at the top of the Map lets you quickly jump to a specific location. Enter an address or place name to pan there, or paste a pair of coordinates (from the Coords tool) to navigate to an exact point.
Center & Select
The Center tool re-centers the Map on your property using its extent, making it easy to re-orient yourself. The Select tool returns the cursor to its default state, which is handy for stopping the Draw or measurement tools.
Rotate
By default, the Map always points direct North. However, the Map can easily be rotated by selecting the Rotate tool.
Rotating the Map will update the compass with the current direction. This rotation will stay for the remainder of the session or until you rotate the Map again.
Measure
You can easily measure lengths or areas on your property using the Length and Area measurement tools.
Measurement tools work similarly to the Draw tool and add a temporary Feature to the Map for the duration of the session, or until removed by clicking the 'X' button in the measurement popup.
Coordinates
The Coords tool provides an easy way to find coordinates for a specific location on your Map. Map coordinates are shown for the current mouse position, and clicking will copy the current coordinates to your clipboard.
Full Screen
For the best experience it is recommended to use your Map in Full-screen mode using the Full tool. Select it again to turn Full Screen mode off.
Share
Maps can be shared with others using the Share tool. This copies the public Map link to your clipboard, which can then be shared with anyone you wish to be able to view your Map.
The Share link for a Map is different from the default Map link. Only the owner can view a Map with the default link, while the Share link is specifically for sharing with others.
In addition, Share links are only available for Premium Maps. Free Maps will need to be upgraded in order to be shared with others.
